In Puerto Plata province the areas most affected are Bella Vista, Maranata, El Batey and Sosua Abajo, after the Sosua River flooded. In Monte Adentro, Las Palomas, Don Pedro and Licey, in Santiago, at least 450 homes have been affected by flooding.
